Flying Swede takes double UK win 2005-08-21 19:11

RACE REPORTS
Race 1: Belgian UKT2-Kimi took the pole in the qualifying. When the race started
he took the lead with Gordy at second, JK-Racer at third and JimmyMagnusson at fourth.
At lap ten JK-Racer passed Gordy and then quickly caught and passed UKT2-Kimi that had
to settle for second.
Race 2: The reversed grid rule meant that JK-Racer started last in Race 2. Pole
placed JimmyMagnusson was passed by Gordy and Kimi in lap 2 and then by JK-Racer in lap
4. JK-Racer then overtook first UKT2-Kimi and then Gordy. A few laps later UKT2-Kimi spun
and hit the tire wall. He managed to get his Formula Ford to the pits but no further. JK-Racer
won before Gordy and JimmyMagnusson at third that had spun on lap 17.
For complete results and standings see Results page.

yesterday. For practice results and a complete list of every driver's best laptime see Results

Guestbook 2005-08-17 21:29

I've just added a guestbook to the page. It's under the results page.

Welcome! 2005-08-17 20:50

This site has just opened. It's not beautiful, but it works. A few words about this homepage:
The site is the official hompage of the online Formula Ford Euro Series that I'm going to start
on Sunday 21/8. I've never held in a series before, only raced in them. We race the game
TOCA Race Driver 2 by Codemasters on Playstation2 (for more info about game see
Codemaster's official hompage).
The current maximum number of competitors in one race is eight. This is because I am so far
the only host and one room can only have a total of eight drivers. The races are set in sim
mode, because Formula Ford cars are quite slippery to drive even without pro-sim settings.
I try to have online racing as clean as possible. Formula Fords makes it easier for me on that
occasion as you have a harder time knocking someone off without loosing on it yourself. Still
standard real race-rules apply: Do not push eachother off the track and no unfair driving,
grass cutting and so on. Of course mistakes and accidents happen, but drivers that constantly
keeps violating the rules will be banned from further racing.

I try to get a good mix of nationalities in the races, this is thought to be a Euro Series both driver-
and trackwise. All seven european nations included in the game will have at least one event each.
Of course non-european drivers are also welcome to join the racing. For more info see Regulations
and Tracks page.
