1. Race Format
Each race weekend will consist of one qualifying (shoot-out format, one lap)
and two races. Each race will be about 20 minutes long. The shootout takes
place the minutes before Race 1 starts and decides the starting order for Race 1.
After Race 1 is finished the final result is reversed for the Race 2 grid, so the
driver that won will start 8th, the one that came second will start 7th and so on.
There is a total of nine races, one in each european nation included in the game
except for the United Kingdom and Germany that has two events each. They will
be run every two weeks with some exceptions that will be announced on this site.
Points will be awarded in the following order:

1st 15 points
2nd 12 points
3rd 10 points
4th 8 points
5th 6 points
6th 4 points
7th 2 points
8th 1 point

Pole Position 1 point

Fastest Lap(at end of race) 1 point

Drivers that timed out or left the server will get the points for their final position on
the scoreboard. This does not however apply to drivers that was kicked because of
violating the race rules. If two or more drivers achieve the same fastest lap time each
will be awarded one point.

2. Race Regulations
This is a fair racing server. This means that it is not allowed to sabotage the race for
other drives. Do not push each other off the track. If a crash occurs and the victim
suffers damaged and has to repair his Formula Ford the driver that caused the crash
has to pit with him. In a race as short as these 20-minute sprint races being forced to
take a drivethrough may very well cost you too much. If the driver refuses to take the
drivethrough penalty an additional 40 second will be added to his final race time.
To avoid these kind of incidents it is highly recomended that you only overtake on the
inside if the driver in front makes a clear mistake, on the straights or in such a way that
the driver you overtake will not be hit or damaged. Of course normal race rules apply
even here, it is not permitted to cut corners at any time during the race or shoot-out.
This means stay on the track, not on the grass. Drivers make mistakes, but a driver that
as an example cut the Mantorp chicane all 16 laps clearly does not make mistakes every
lap. These rules are mainly taken from the BFG Enduro Series.

3. Race Time
The races will be held on sundays at about 11.00 Central European Time (France, Germany,
Italy). The races are held this early simply because I do not want them to crash with real-life
events such as Formula 1. It will also allow Australian drivers to race in the series, seeing that
V8 Supercars 2 (Australian version of RD2) is quite popular "down under".

4. Headset
To race in the Toca Race Driver 2 Formula Ford Euro PS2 Series you have to have a headset
for PS2. Headset is a must for online racing to communicate before and during races. If you
do not own a headset I recommend you to buy one if you happen to see it at an acceptable price.
Up to 25 euros I say, I got mine from the game SOCOM2. The headsets for PS2 is plugged in to
the USB port.
